Quick answer
Yes/no tarot reading
Sometimes you just want a quick hint. In a yes/no reading one card is drawn, and the card's character and direction give a yes, a no or a “maybe – but”.

ChooseHow is a yes/no card read?
Cards with light, momentum and openings – like The Sun, The Star or the Ace of Wands – lean towards yes. Cards showing stops, loss or conflict – like The Tower or the Ten of Swords – lean towards no. Upright strengthens the answer; reversed softens it or points to delay.
Some cards are ambiguous, such as Justice or the Two of Swords. Then you get a “maybe”, along with what needs to fall into place before the answer becomes clear.
Good and less good yes/no questions
One card works best when the question is specific and about you.
- Good: “Is this a good time to look for a new job?”
- Good: “Should I reach out first?”
- Less good: “What will happen with my life?” – choose three or seven cards instead.
- Not suitable: Health, law and big financial decisions. Ask a professional.
Frequently asked questions
Can I ask the same question several times?
You can, but the first draw is meant as the answer. Repeated draws often make things less clear.
How quickly do I get an answer?
The card and interpretation appear on screen a few seconds after payment.
